Good Times Rollin’
If you’re looking for a multi-faceted Social Bowling League on the west side, then look no further. We are the best community operated league with a strong focus on comradery, competition, and having a good time.
The Oral History of our league.
Good Times Rollin’ has been operating in service of the West LA community for well over a decade, formerly known as “Reemerschmidts Bowling”. Every element of our league is managed and executed by members of our league. We are not affiliates of AMF or Bowlero.
Pre-Pandemic, our league bounced around from the Santa Monica Bowlmor on Pico, to the Mar Vista Bowlero on Venice, and the Westchester Bowlero on Lincoln. Over the years the size of our league fluctuated between 24 teams to 8 teams a season. Lockdown in the LA area was nearly a year and a half of no access to bowling alleys. The day LA’s lockdown on bowling alley’s was lifted, league members were the first through the doors and back on the lanes. The first post lockdown season began within weeks and followed all safety protocols, reducing the risk of losing access to bowling again.
For the last few years we have made the Westchester’s Bowlero our home, and we have no plans on moving. Every week we have Phil Yoakum supporting us with Strike it Richâ„¢. Most recently, we have been offering support to local business’s in exchange for sponsorship by way of gift cards and merch that are given away as weekly prizes during league play.
